Storage and protection
Transformer oil is very easy to be polluted by moisture, various solid particles, fibers and acetylene gas. Therefore, it is very important to keep transformer oil dry and clean. The air in the storage environment must not contain acetylene gas. The storage container must be dedicated and strictly avoid contact with lubricants such as engine oil, hydraulic oil and gear oil. It should be placed indoors or in a controlled climate environment as much as possible.
